This
is what a 1300 mile (starting from northwest Washington) road trip looks like.
Pic taken somewhere in Nevada. The nice thing about taking the less traveled
highways (besides being a more direct route) is the lack of cops - which brings
me to the next picture.

Pics from LV Hilton's
"Star Trek The Experience". If you like Star Trek you gotta
check this out. Tons of props and factoids from the show and a really
cool ride that takes you down a "turbo lift" onto an exact replication
of the enterprise's bridge and then onto a omni dome ride film. Some
of the best computer graphics I ever saw on the ride film - plus the added
benefit of being thrown around violently. No pics of the ride at all - most
things including the show photography is forbidden.

Check
out this clown! There are freaks everywhere in Las Vegas. Taken inside
NY NY gift shop.

Yup.
Lots of wildlife on this road trip. We saw about a dozen deer, a billion
cows, a few dozen jack rabbits, a porcupine, various birds (we hit one),
and whatever we hit as evidenced by the animal hair on my fender. We think
it was a small fox, but we really didn't turn around to check it out.

This
is what the end of a 1300 mile road trip looks like. 20 hours of driving
tends to tucker one out.

No,
we didn't hit this one. Part of the Mandalay Bay "Shark Reef"
display. More pics of that when we develop our film. These pics
were taken with my digital camera - and the reflection of the flash off the
shark tanks make the pictures suck ass.

'O Blues. Duh... Didn't get to go in. You should see what those bastards charge!

You
can see these guys for free at the MGM grand. The second picture shows
you how good a picture looks when you take it with the flash on shooting through
a reflective surface. Don't try to recreate this yourself - I'm a pro.

If
you're up for some live music, LV is the place to go. Pretty much every casino
has some sort of live music. The more you drink, the better it sounds. Must
be why this place had a 15 drink minimum.

Wanna
buy a car for 50 cents? Most of the major casinos had cars that you could
"win" playing slots. A word of caution though - I think these
were the same exact cars I saw 7 years ago.

Here's
where we stayed. Not bad for $35 a night eh? Find out more about
the hotel here. We found the $35 a night
rate at expedia. Pretty cool hotel
- great service.

The
most important part of the hotel - the pool.
A
pic of the wife demonstrating how to punish a car by driving 90 MPH in 110 degree
weather with the AC cranked.
These
dumbass cows were standing in the middle of the road - which is ok if you don't
have to decelerate from 90 MPH. Do you smell something burning honey?
Is that the brakes?
Various
random LV shots. Check out the cool panaramic pics.
Take
a look at these loose slots!! (the machines, not my wife) If you
have extra money to flush down the toilet, slot machines are the best way to
do so. (we only lost $40)

When
you gotta pull over, you gotta pull over...
I'll
be back. Will more pics soon.
Inside
of Caesar's Palace. In my opinion the coolest looking casino.
